“I truly believe that if we keep telling the Christmas story, singing the Christmas songs, and living the Christmas spirit, we can bring joy and happiness and peace to this world.” ―Norman Vincent Peale

This week’s challenge on partner Susan and my alternate site is CHRISTMAS BLING.
For me Candy Cane Lane represents a type of bling that puts a smile on your face, joy in your heart and happiness to share with others.
Candy Cane Lane in Edmonton, Alberta is celebrating more than 50 years of bringing the light, magic and joy of Christmas to residents .The season opened on December 9th and runs through to New Year’s day.
This year sleigh rides will be available for interested visitors on three evening and automobile travel will be prohibited.
The above video was made in 200 when the effects of the Covid 19 virus put a damper on the holiday fun. This year the food bank drop off caches will be available along the routs and monetary donations also welcomed.
If you feel adventurous you can also join friends and neighbors to walk the route.
On our alternate site ( bottom of this article) one resident made a walk along video.
Susan and myself wish you a safe, happy and memorable holiday season!
I do love Candy Lane, Uplifting 🙂
