“I have noticed that the people who are late are often so much jollier than the people who have to wait for them.”―
It seems that two departments at the Callingwood Safeway outlet in North Edmonton have bucked the system and tried their hand at presenting a gingerbread display for public reviewing.
It should be mentioned it is a little late in the game especially when the deadline for voting for your favorite entry is December 20th.
But I suppose any concerted effort is worth a pat on the back.
A few days ago I wrote an article (“He’s fighting the Grinchmas crunch”) in which a lone employee in the produce department ( my friend Luke) is actively promoting the spirit of the season by wearing a different Xmas garb each day.
His solo effort must have inspired a few folks in the store to share the effort.
There are two entrants in this contest.
The spirit of the season is contagious in a good way.
