Saturday’s Weekly Challenge on partner Susan and my alternate site was the word WEATHERED.

A drive in the country will quickly  reveal the final resting sites for many weathered and now outdated modes of farm equipment now rusted out, archaic and returned once again to the pasture land they once were called upon to work.

In a sense this is their final resting place. Their presence does not besmirch the land but rather attests to the fact that in their day they were essential pieces of farm equipment.
