T H E  D A W N  O F  C H R I S T M A S

As the number of shopping hours between now and the close of business for another day nears many shoppers will notice that the crowds at the checkout stations are getting longer, fellow shoppers getting ruder and their own patience is getting severely tested.

What we all appreciate is a checkout station  attendee who treats us as people and expresses a sense of fun and happiness for the Christmas season. The candy cane shirt Dawn is wearing puts a smile on customers faces and assures them that this is a cashier they want to meet.

As I stood patiently in line and was at time bumped and buffeted by fellow shoppers I noticed this one cashier wo greeted everyone in a positive and friendly manner, expressed concern for them as people and exuded a happy go lucky mood to all who stopped at her station.

The wearing of the face mask thanks to the ever present COVID 19 virus did not dissuade her bubbly personality to meet and greet her customers.

A hearty tip of the hat to this young lady who exemplifies the spirit of the season.
