“You can plant a tree to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion or a business success. Tree hugging is the easiest yoga art to connect you with nature.”― Yoga The Science of Well-Being

Saturday’s Challenge on partner Susan and my alternate site, WEEKLY PROMPTS, was the word TALL.
While Susan wrote about the word “tall” from a personal height perspective I translated it as being a tall order to prune huge evergreen trees for the winter.
There are a number of these trees on the property and last winter a heavy amount of winter snow forced many of the low lying branches to actually touch the ground. This new position diverted the usually upward growing branches to face downward.
This new position made it difficult for lawn trimmers to trim the lawn and many were having to duck the branches in order not to be literally bushwhacked while they drove their sit down vehicles.
It was sad to see so many trees receiving a trimming but as always safety first is the rule and not the exception.
