“People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.” ― Iris Murdoch

For this month’s color selection my talented partner Susan chose Magenta Rose.
The color magenta rose may represent Valentine’s Day since the colors rose and magenta (as well as red) are used to represent Valentine’s Day. Thus, the color magenta rose may represent romantic love.
But this type of love is not limited to human beings. The offered photo above to me symbolically represents the universal love of life that nature bestows on all living things.
There is always beauty despite ugliness; hope beyond despair ; and universal joy beyond sadness and misery.
This floral display was located outside a community health clinic where I noticed people entering and exiting the building and not really stopping to notice or appreciate the beyond existing there.
Taking the time to smell the roses and enjoy life is the only way to go. – gc
