“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” ― Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds

People today it seems are more concerned about closely scrutinizing the threatening storm clouds which from time to time seem to loom ominously on the distant horizon than taking the time to fully appreciate the beauty, optics and wonder of the sky above them.
Many clouds pose no threat to us but do offer the opportunity to view and appreciate the intricate patterns, designs and forms that float harmlessly above us every day.
Living in a metropolitan area tends to minimize the chances we have to appreciate the cloud show taking place above our heads seamlessly and quietly.
My partner Susan and I on our alternate site “Weekly Prompts” wonder if you take the time to look up and enjoy the free display of clouds that float overhead every single day.
If possible escape to the countryside, bring your binoculars , look up and enjoy the sky above your head.
Photos of clouds, poems relating to clouds or even personal stories about clouds that have awed you in the past are welcomed. – gc
