Revolution Years: 1917 and 2019?

“A revolution is always distinguished by impoliteness, probably because the ruling classes did not take the trouble in good season to teach the people fine manners.” ― Leon Trotsky, History of the Russian Revolution

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (22 April 1870 – 21 January 1924), better known by the alias Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924

Will President Trump call on the National Guard and the unpaid military might he is commander-in-grief of to quell any uprisings that a disgruntled and disillusioned country are now experiencing?

He is on the verge of declaring a “national emergency” of his own creation so why not prove to foreign despots (Putin and Kim Jong Un) that he can be as ruthless and indifferent as they are?

If you watch the news broadcasts ( except Fox and friends) there is a dire shortage of personnel to man the flight control towers that protect airline passengers from disaster.

Looking back in time corruption and inefficiency were widespread in the imperial government of the Tsarist regime  and ethnic minorities were eager to escape Russian domination. Today we have the Trump dynasty of privileged billionaires driving the country to ruin.

Peasants, workers, and soldiers finally rose up after the enormous and largely pointless slaughter of World War I destroyed Russia’s economy as well as its prestige as a European power.

Governmental employees and members of the country’s armed forces today are performing their duties for free and being directed to take out short-term loans to meet their daily needs.

In our modern-day scenario a once prosperous and globally respected country has been driven to its knees both politically, economically and militarily by a leader who believes tin his own greatness and is determined to have his way with a country burdened by doubt, inexperience and potential collusion and corruption.

As the days wear on the 800,00 government employees who are undergoing forced economic hardship and deprivation might take to the streets to voice their protest of the way things are and form a human wall of social evolution meant to thaw the heart of the man they call president .

The current jack boot mentality displayed by the Trump regime will meet a new wave of protest from citizens demanding immediate social change.

While the Republican party continues to vigorously support this villain the rest of the world looks at the country with awe and disgust. — gc

  1. Absolute disbelief is spot on. If that was over here those government employees would be on the streets calling for his immediate removal.

They would have walked out long before now. We do love a good strike over here. Well, the unions do!

    🚩Up the red flag!! 😀
