This guy’s trek no easy march

This week’s photo challenge word on Susan and my alternative website was WALKING in which readers could either offer photos of themselves walking or doing it vicariously as I have done here.

I am at that age when I prefer looking out a patio window as people younger than myself frolic playfully in the newly fallen snow especially so if the amount of the white stuff on the ground is substantial.

The person in this photo caught my immediate attention as he deftly handled the maneuvering of his overloaded cart. His footing was steady and his gait determined and measured.

While vehicles on the roads randomly slipped and slid into one another this man commandeered his shopping cart in a sure footed manner.

A tip of the proverbial hat to his valiant efforts. –  gc

  1. I’m amazed he could move it along at all. Snow is normally tricky for little wheels and shopping trolleys are notoriously difficult at the best of times. Good for him. I can’t help wondering what is in those black sacks, apart from rubbish! 🙂

    • That is the million dollar question Susan. I assumed the bags were filed with bottles and cans he had collected. On the other hand and more cynically it could have been his move out day and his personal possessions were the main contents of the load. Other than that no idea. 🙂
