Winter cold – summer warmth

“The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly changes from the summer cottons into its winter wools.” ― Henry Beston

This week’s photo challenge on Susan W.’s and my alternate site “Weekly Prompts” is “COMPARISON”.

The photo above depicts the differences between the promise and the hope of the summer months contrasted against the frigid, lifeless landscape of the winter months.

It is the same camera angle and the visual contrast is striking.

Please feel free to visit our site and perhaps offer your own comparisons.  -gc

  1. Where as I love to view photographs, I haven’t the eye for it so I stick to writing.

I borrowed your word so I took the liberty of linking and popping in to view all the entries from the other participants.

Excellent comparison in your photos of the earth awake and asleep. Thanks for sharing.
