No difference between noise and news

“I have long held the opinion that the amount of noise that anyone can bear undisturbed stands in inverse proportion to his mental capacity and therefore be regarded as a pretty fair measure of it.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer

Fake news. A ranting president. A female porn star’s salacious accusations. School children marching in the street to protest gun violence.

All these situations and more could honestly be classified as being noise. The network reporters, anchorman and analysts are overwhelming a person’s nervous system with forms of editorial content which leads to no change in the status quo.

Trump knows how to exploit the media and his chaos theories only confuse the issues and resolve nothing. He is the ultimate ringmaster of confusion.

The instantaneous media coverage is there but the means to solving the problems has taken an extended vacation.

Cover your ears and hope for the best. – gc

  1. You’re so right Gerry!
Noise: Loud and unpleasant and causes a disturbance – Yep you’ve summed up this flatulating, bloated, disagreeable excuse for a man perfectly.
Oh, I’m sorry, was that remark somewhat inflated? 🙂

    • Well Susan it seems these days that Trump himself is infatuated with inflating the truth especially where his country’s deficit to Canada ( the country’s closest friend and ally) is concerned. He may need more than a bicarbonate of soda to settle his tummy troubles. Not fake news. 🙂
