Trump’s firm gun law stance now flaccid

“It’s discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit.” ― Noël Coward, Blithe Spirit

It is amazing the amount of time and money that is going to be spent by the National Rifle Association in the defense of their members right to bear arms. Trump’s firm stance on guns after the Lakeland shooting was mere rhetoric. He is now suggesting that the gun issue is in the hand of the states. He is not being cowardly by this change o heart but totally utilitarian. The U. S.mid term elections are quickly approaching and the NRA’s pockets are the golden apple causing discord for many.  No conflict of interest there. – gc

  1. I’ve always had difficulty understanding the United States of America.

There’s nothing united as far as I can tell. A hotchpotch of rules and regulations that some Americans need to adhere to but others don’t.

Leaving it up to the “states of confusion”.

How is that going to solve the gun problem?
