Snow mounds and dreaming of spring

“People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.” — Rogers Hornsby

As we now plough through a difficult winter there are pleasant reminders that keep popping up the remind us that all is not lost and that good times will flourish once more. The snowfall has taken a commanding role in many outdoor activities and has placed many outdoor coffee shops on hold until the warmer weather returns. This is my favorite outdoor spot where I spend a good deal of time in the warmer weather. I pass by this table every day and dream of the warmer weather ahead. – gc

  1. Spring – traditionally a sign of hope and new life. The early signs are already here, at least they are in my little corner of England. The longer, lighter and brighter days are only weeks away.
Hang in there love, the sunshine is on its way! 🌞

    • Thanks for the words of encouragement. The cold weather and fighting a flu bug is debilitating but the thoughts of warm weather ahead is wonderful. 🙂
