Look through any window during the cold and bleak winter months and all you perceive is ice, slush, cold and slippery sidewalks. But on the more magical days of the season the cold winter winds and the right amount of humidity combine to create ice-covered structures that not only protect the trees and shrubbery but also delight and titillate the senses.
