Personal discovery: an act of bravery

“The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid but he who conquers that fear. — Nelson Mandela..

A teenager riding his bicycle with his friends is really no cause for concern. But the one who experiments with his vehicle in an unorthodox manner is the one who automatically captures your attention. While his friends are merely out for a ride his mind is actively pursuing other lines of thought. Being different from the crowd has always been an act of bravery. Reflecting on what you are doing and devising unique solutions to potential problems in other realms marks the thinker from the rest of us. Thinking outside the box is an art and not a fluke. It is also fun. Try it. – gc
