Pedestrians enjoy Whyte Avenue

“Whether you live in a city or a small town , and whether you drive a car, take a bus or ride a train, at some point in the day everyone is a pedestrian. ” — Anthony Foxx.

Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta offers its pedestrians a wide range of options that can titillate the senses, please the palate, attract the curious and cater to those folks who love the outdoor bistros and pubs of many European cities. The street runs past the University of Alberta and offers the flair and finesse that the downtown area of the city often lacks. The only thing pedestrian about this stretch of roadway are the people who amble slowly along its paved sidewalks. – gc
